Plants Are Breaking Through
It is always good to see signs of life. After weeks of work in getting the ground ready, dialing in irrigation, planning, then planting we are seeing the first signs of life in the garden. This is a baby squash plant breaking through the soil. In a few weeks we will be picking fresh summer squash off this little guy.
A Good Rain
You could not ask for better timing on this rain. We have everything in the ground and this will give our seeds a great start. It looks like all the big boys farming around us are finished planting right now too.
Getting The Drip Installed
A drip system is a great idea for using as little water as possible and automating the irrigation for our plants, but, man, is it a lot of work. We have been working on this system for months, but it is almost done.
